The Nelson Leafs won 7-4 during Tuesday night's game against the Castlegar Rebels, who they will face again tomorrow night.

The Nelson Leafs tamed the Castlegar Rebels during the third exhibition game of the pre-season, blowing them away with a 7-4 victory. Aspiring players bore down on their neighbourly rivals, vying for a spot on this season’s roster.

The Leafs began the pre-season by besting the Beaver Valley Nitehawks 3-2, but they were subsequently walloped by Fruitvale, losing 6-2.

The last exhibition game will be in Castlegar tomorrow night at 8 p.m.
