Leafs lose 7-0 to Beaver Valley

Playoff series now sits at two games to one for the Nitehawks.

The Beaver Valley Nitehawks were back at home for game three of their playoff series against the Nelson Leafs and the offence came to life as the home squad crushed Nelson 7-0.

After a scoreless first period, the Nitehawks found the back of the net, fast and frequently, scoring four goals in the middle frame.

Beaver Valley added another three in the third to shut out the Leafs.

The Leafs have little time to regroup as game four is set for Tuesday, March 11 at 7 p.m. in Fruitvale.
