The Nelson Leafs have been eliminated from the playoffs.
JP Desabrais scored twice for the Grand Forks Border Bruins in a 3-0 win Friday that knocked the Leafs out in five games.
Levi Astill also scored for Grand Forks, while Ethan Shebansky made 33 saves for the shutout. The Border Bruins will play the Beaver Valley Nitehawks in the next round.
Karl Soneff finished with 40 saves for the Leafs.
