The Nelson Leafs’ offence exploded in an 8-2 win over the Beaver Valley Nitehawks at home Saturday that snapped a four-game losing streak.
Marko Pavlovic scored twice and had two assists for the Leafs, with Lucas Byrne also scoring a pair.
Joe Davidson, Owen McFarlane, Ryan Quast and Johnny Carmichael added singles, and Jasper Tait stopped 26 shots for Nelson (4-2-2).
Nathan Dominici and Joel Smyth replied for the Nitehawks (5-3-1), while goaltender Zachary Mussio allowed all eight goals on 41 shots.
The Leafs next visit the Grand Forks Border Bruins on Tuesday.
