Nelson’s Leo Grypma finished eighth at an international CrossFit event in Miami last month.
Grypma, a coach at Power By You, competed against 19 other athletes in the masters 35 to 39 men’s division at Wodapalooza, which ran Feb. 21 to 23.
He placed in the top 10 in four out of six work outs that included weight lifting, gymnastics, cardio, swimming and tests of strength.
