LVR finishes 12th at girls’ volleyball provincials

The Bombers had a tough time in pool play before winning to place 12th.

The L.V. Rogers girls volleyball team is back home after finishing 12th out of 16 teams at the AAA provincial championships in Kelowna last weekend.

The team went winless through three pool games, then lost a cross-over match to eventual champ Little Flower Academy.

But the Bombers defeated Clayton Heights to secure a spot in the top-12, and finished play with losses to Crofton House and host Okanagan Mission.
