L.V. Rogers senior girls volleyball team has won its first three tournaments of the season.

LVR defeated Kimberley’s Selkirk Secondary 25-15, 25-22 in the final of Best of the West last weekend in Kelowna.

The team lost to fourth-ranked AA Clarence Fulton from Vernon in three games to finish second in their pool and drop to Division 2. From there they defeated Osoyoos in playoffs and Edmonton’s Louis St. Laurent in the semifinals to advance.

LVR had previously won tournaments in Oliver and at Mount Sentinel Secondary.
