Matteo Faraguna has taken another step in his fledgling soccer career.

The Nelson native has been selected to represent the province as part of the under-13 BC Soccer High Performance Program.

Faraguna joined the Thompson Okanagan Football Club to compete in the BC Soccer Premier League last year.
