Nelson’s Matti Erickson proved to be too much for Alberta’s best at the Alberta Provincial Indoor track championships. Erickson, 13, won the outstanding bantam male award by besting all competitors in the 200m, 800m, long jump and high jump events. He was second in the 60m and shot put events. Erickson garnered the most points in the six-event championship competition.
