Motorcyclists test their logging skills in Nelson

International participants in the BMW Motorrad competition received a little logger training at Lakeside Park.

Participants in the BMW Motorrad rolled into Lakeside Park on Wednesday afternoon to participate in a logging sports competition.

There were 16 teams with four individuals each, from countries such as Korea, Germany, Italy, Spain and Australia.

Teams competed at cross-cut sawing, axe throwing and peavey log-rolling. The cyclists left Thursday morning to continue the competition which will wrap up in Calgary.
