Nelson’s Roger Kerby recently returned from the Canadian Masters badminton championship in Halifax with three medals: gold in 80-plus mixed doubles (with Shirley Graham of Ottawa), bronze in men’s 75-plus doubles (with Jim Dewberry of Victoria), and bronze in men’s 80-plus doubles (also with Dewberry). Kerby was among 145 players from 15 countries participating.
