If Monday night’s Game Three in the Neil Murdoch Division’s first round series tilt featuring the Nelson Junior Leafs and Beaver Valley Nitehawks was at all any indication of what’s in store for tonight… don’t miss it.

In what many are saying is the best game of the season so far, it took overtime for the Leafs to record the important win that puts them up 2-1 in the series heading into Game Four tonight at the Nelson and District Community Complex (puck drops at 7 p.m.)

“We just have to keep playing consistent,” Leafs’ defenceman Kyler Wilkinson told the Star after Monday’s 2-1 overtime win when asked what it will take for Nelson to win the series. “We have to focus on playing strong defence, continue to have the great goaltending and the goals will come.”
