Riding for the Ripping Giraffe Boardshop team, Finnegan Megale of Nelson (centre), placed first in the provincial series boarder cross event at Big White last weekend (Mens U13). Xander Appels of Kelowna (right) was second and Daniel Loban from Lake Country was third.
Over two days of tough competition under sunny and icy conditions, riders from around BC, Alberta and Yukon raced for a chance to qualify for the national finals coming up in April.
