Ready to skate! The Nelson Figure Skating club hosted its annual wrap up on Saturday with skaters of all ages hitting the ice at NDCC.

The Nelson Figure Skating club wowed the crowd with their annual showcase called “Around the World.”



The Nelson Figure Skating club wowed the crowd with their annual showcase called “Around the World.”

The Saturday afternoon event featured the club’s most experienced skaters along with little ones who’ve only been skating for several months.

With music and choreography from South America, Europe and Asia, the club closed out the 2012 to 2013 season with the globally-themed show held at Nelson District Community Complex arena. The hour-long program consisted of 19 group, pairs and individual performances.
