Castlegar goaltender Ethan Lawczynski made 44 saves in yet another star turn as the Rebels beat the Leafs 3-1 on Saturday. The win gives Castlegar, which entered the post-season fourth in the Neil Murdoch Division, a chance to upset to first-place Leafs when the series returns to Nelson on Monday for Game 5.
Nathan Dann, Jacob Moldenhauer and Griffen Ryden each scored for Castlegar.
Lane Goodwin had the lone goal for the Leafs, while Tenzin Mint turned aside 31 shots in net.
