The Nelson Leafs will open their regular season Nov. 13 on the road against the Castlegar Rebels.
The KIJHL released its schedule Oct. 6, which shows the Leafs visiting Castlegar before hosting their home opener Nov. 14 at the Nelson and District Community Complex against the Osoyoos Coyotes to start the 30-game campaign.
The league was divided up into three-to-four team cohorts last month. Nelson will share its cohort with Castlegar, Osoyoos and the Grand Forks Border Bruins through the first 12 regular season games to Dec. 19.
After that the cohorts will change again with Nelson playing against Castlegar, Grand Forks and the Creston Valley Thunder Cats from Jan. 2 to Feb. 27, 2021.
The league has yet to announce if fans will be able to attend games, or what the playoff structure will look like.
