Nelson Leafs support Man in Motion sculpture

The project needs an additional $2500 to purchase the sculpture, which is currently displayed at the NDCC entrance.

Nelson Leafs president Larry Martel presented Bill McDonnell and sculptor Denis Klein with a cheque for $500 at the Monday night hockey game. The funds will go towards the purchase of the Man in Motion bronze sculpture located at the NDCC entrance. The project needs an additional $8100 to purchase the sculpture, and is looking for other organizations that may be interested in getting involved. Replicas of the statue can also be viewed in the Nelson Leafs display cabinet in the NDCC concourse.
