The team acquired defenceman Tyson Meier

The Nelson Leafs have traded forward Easton Jolie to the Kimberley Dynamiters in exchange for defenceman Tyson Meier.

Meier, a five-foot-10, 180-pound native of Lethbridge, Alta., had one goal and 10 assists in 36 games during his rookie campaign last season.

Jolie meanwhile had 11 goals and 17 assists in 48 games in what was also his first full KIJHL season with the Leafs.

Nelson has been busy so far this off-season, having completed three trades last month.
