The Nelson Pee Wee Rep Leafs have been pushed to the limit by Castlegar after losing 7-6 on Thursday night.

Nelson and Castlegar are engaged in the West Kootenay final, the winner will earn a berth in the Tier 3 provincials in Quesnel next month.

Nelson won the first game earlier this week in the first-to-four-points series. On Tuesday night in Nelson they tied Castlegar 2-2 after the Pee Wee Rebels scored with under two minutes to play in the game.

Thursday’s loss means a fourth and final game will play out on Saturday night in Castlegar. The winner advances, the loser will have their season end.
