The host Nelson Leafs PeeWee squad started the BC Hockey Tier PeeWee Championships on the wrong foot on Sunday, dropping their opener 13-3 to Dawson Creek.
However the team has bounced back to win two straight.
On Sunday night, the local squad pounded the Quesnel Thunder 10-4 to even their record.
On Monday, the Leafs took on the Vanderhoof Bears and edged out their opponents 6-5.
The Leafs have two more games of tournament play before the quarter-finals begin.
Today (March 18) Nelson takes on South Okanagan at 8:30 p.m. and then on March 19 the Leafs play Whitehorse, also at 8:30 p.m.
Playoff action begins Thursday (March 20) at 5 p.m. with the final on Friday at 11 a.m.
