Nelson Squash Club’s Safaraz Ahmed wins at Spring Classic

The Nelson Squash Club’s Sarfaraz Ahmed captured the pro title during the Spring Classic Tournament last weekend.

Ahmed, who also manages the club, held off four other players to win the three-day tournament. Sixty-three players took part in the annual event.

Divison winners included Andy Cowan, Robert Klewchuk, Bill Clark and John Bowden. Carolyn Amantea took the ladies title, while Kevin Limbert won the open title.
