A Nelson swimmer will receive a full scholarship to a NCAA Division 1 school.
Jordan Andrusak has committed to Ohio's Bowling Green State University and its swimming program starting next fall with all four years fully funded.
Andrusak moved to Victoria for her Grade 10 year to pursue a potential career in the pool. She specializes in the individual medley and breaststroke, and is also strong in freestyle.
Andrusak competed in the finals of three of her four events at the Canadian Swimming Championships in Edmonton last August.
