Nelson soccer teams won two medals at the Kamloops Slurpee Cup during the Victoria Day long weekend.

The under-15 captured gold after drawing Kelowna Academy 2-2 but winning the tiebreaker on goal difference.

The team finished play with a 7-0 win against Williams Lake, a 3-0 shutout against West Kelowna and a 2-1 win against Vernon.

The U13 girls also won silver at the tournament, while the U14 boys finished with a 1-1-2 record.
