Nelson’s Reece Hunt has been named forward of the week in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.
Hunt, who plays for the University of Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs, led the league with five goals last week. She had four goals and a natural hat trick Friday in a 4-1, then added another goal and assist one night later.
Her hat trick Friday was her second of the season.
In 19 games this season Hunt has 13 goals and six assists. Four of her goals are also game winners.
