Both L.V. Rogers senior basketball teams came up short last weekend in their bids to make the British Columbia AA basketball championships. (Left) Brittney Wheeler and the senior girls team fell 73-58 to the host Grand Forks Secondary Wolves despite a 37-point game from senior Sarah Fuhr. Meanwhile in Kimberley, the senior boys came up against a powerful David Thompson Lakers squad from Invermere. Senior Jason D’Andrea (right) and the boys battled hard but couldn’t get it done, losing 81-68.
