PHOTOS: Nelson Neptunes return to home competition

It had been nearly three years since the team was able to compete at home

The Nelson Neptunes were back with a splash last weekend in their first home competition since prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The team hosted six other swimming squads at its 51st invitational swim meet Saturday and Sunday at the Nelson and District Community Complex.

The Neptunes finished the event well ahead in combined team scores with 736 points. They were followed by the Trail Stingrays (358), Revelstoke Aquaducks (341), Grand Forks Piranhas Swim Club (315), Castlegar Aquanauts (255), Creston Wave Swim Club (111) and the Seahorses (64).
