Tyler Pisiak scored in double overtime as the Nelson Leafs edged the Rebels 4-3 in Castlegar on Tuesday to force a Game 7.
Pisiak broke the stalemate on the power play after Castlegar’s Cody Quinton was called for tripping.
Nelson now hosts the Rebels on Wednesday in the series finale after rallying back from a 3-1 deficit.
Tenzin Mint was sensational in Nelson’s net with 39 saves. Johnny Carmichael and Liam Noble gave Nelson a 2-0 lead in the first period, while Lane Goodwin also scored in the second and added three assists.
Griffen Ryden scored a hat trick for the Rebels, while goaltender Ethan Lawczynski made 33 saves.
