No one was complaining about bruised knees or flat tires on a hot, dusty day at Morning Mountain.
The 21st annual Fat Tire Festival came to an end Sunday with several races as kids got their laps in before teenagers and adults took over for the more technical Sane and Insane events.
The three-day bike celebration opened with a parade downtown on Friday and featured non-competitive events Saturday.
