Nelson’s Reece Hunt has been named to the Female Midget AAA League All-Star Team.

Hunt, who played last season for the Kootenay Wild, was one of only three players who averaged over a point per game. She scored 16 goals and had 15 assists in 29 games, which was good for second overall in league scoring.

Hunt was one of just six players honoured by B.C. Hockey. Her season also included an appearance with Team B.C. at the women’s under-18 hockey championship in November, where she scored once and returned with a bronze medal.
