This past weekend the Nelson and District Riding Grounds hosted the second annual Mountain Turn and Burn Gymkhana.

Competitors from all over the Kootenays attended the event and horse and rider teams raced to beat the clock.

This year the competitors ranged in age from the youngest rider being four years old to the oldest rider, but the youngest at heart, being 64.

The Mountain Turn and Burn is a free event to spectate and every year it draws a great crowd.
