Kootenay Rhythm Dragon Boat Club sent their senior team to Kelowna the weekend of July 9 to 10 for their Dragon Boat Festival. The team received a silver medal in the senior category of the women’s division. This festival was a good opportunity to challenge their skills and endurance in preparation for the BC Senior Games. In the next month leading up to the Games, they will work on further enhancing their focus and synergy. The BC Senior Games dragon boat competition is being held at Lakeside Park on August 18 to 19.
