The Valhalla Pure Powderkeg Slopestyle saw a record number participants, as more than 70 snowboarders, alpine and telemark skiers competed for top scores on the natural terrain course. The event, part of the eighth annual Coldsmoke Powder Festival, was open to little shredders as young as seven, right up to adults. It was one of four competitive events — including the Roam Randonee Rally, Poker Run and Backcountry Olympics — taking place all weekend at Whitewater Ski Resort, alongside clinics, socials and gear demos.
