Several players from the Soccer Quest Kootenay regional program have been invited to attend various university recruitment weekends throughout Canada and the U.S.
Last weekend three boys attended the University of Calgary invite-only camp and in a month several girls will be at an exclusive recruitment weekend at the University of Lethbridge.
One player is also attending an invite-only Olympic Development Program camp in Florida while several others are trying out for Y league and future HPL teams in Vancouver.
The girls regional team has been invited to attend the Vancouver Whitecaps showcase event March 25 to 27, which includes teams from all over Canada, as well as the Canadian Western Showcase in Burnaby in April.
The boys program will be attending the Starfire showcase event in Seattle in June and has various other college recruitment exhibition games arranged for March and April.
