Nelson’s Lauren Taylor and her Portland State University Vikings golf teammates are hoping to continue their hot streak at the NCAA West Regionals in Auburn, Wash.
The Vikings are ranked 20th amongst the 24 teams heading into the three-round tournament that tees off on Thursday. Though the odds are stacked against the five-member team, they did win three straight Big Sky Conference tournaments to close the season.
The top eight teams make it to the NCAA Championship Tournament in Texas.
