Unknowns take title at Salmo slo-pitch event

Nelson squad goes 4-1 on way to C-Division tournament title.

The Nelson slo-pitch squad the Unknowns defeated the One Hit Wonders 18-15 to win the C-Division title at the  Salmo Canada Day Weekend Slo-pitch Tournament.

The annual tournament attracts squads from all over the West Kootenay.

The Unknowns went 4-1 on their way to the title.

Jayden Roch and Lorne Wouri were picked as team MVPs at the event.
