Mia Noblet’s exploits at incredible heights continue to crush world records.

The Nelson native set yet another record in highline walking with a 1.9-kilometre walk in Asbestos, Que., in September. Noblet had already owned the women’s world record, but her Quebec walk also beat the men’s distance as well.

Noblet had first walked more than a kilometre on a slackline during a visit to Senja, Norway, in August and early September.

The world record is the latest highlight in what’s been a busy year for Noblet. She set her previous world record of 614 metres in Brazil in April, and in June walked a line in China while wearing heels.
