The former Nelson Junior Leaf sniper moved one step closer to a second national Tier II championship in a row. The Vipers now stand at 3-0 in the round robin with one game remaining. They are assured of a semi-final berth on Saturday and if they win, they’ll play in the Sunday final for the third year in a row.

Vernon has now gone 18 games without losing a game at the RBC Cup in regulation time, dating back to the preliminary round of the 1999 tournament.
