The West Kootenay Bantam Wildcats won the Kelowna Bantam Female Hockey Tournament earlier this month.
The team went 2-1 in round robin play with the two wins coming against Kelowna and Prince George. After losing to Kamloops in the round robin, the team bounced back and defeated Kamloops 4-2 in the final.
The Wildcats are a regional girls team with players from Trail, Nelson, Castlegar, Beaver Valley, Rossland, Kaslo, Nakusp and Grand Forks.
