From the first time I stepped out of my car on Baker Street in front of Main Street Diner I knew this was where I belong.
I lived in Nelson from 2011-2014 but begrudgingly had to return to Winnipeg for work. Life changed and I was ready to move back to Nelson when fortunately, the opportunity to be the Publisher/ Sales Consultant became available.
My dog Mabel and I packed up our life and started a new one in Nelson in June 2020. I am so grateful to be back here and working for Black Press. The Nelson Star continues to bind the community together and I am honoured to be a part of that.
