The Nelson Star’s Find Your Divine event featuring keynote speaker Amanda Lindhout has been rescheduled to June 6.

Canadian freelance journalist Lindhout is author of the New York Times bestselling memoir A House in the Sky, which recounts her 2008 kidnapping in Mogadishu and ensuing 15 months in captivity.

Find Your Divine, which celebrates women with an evening of inspiration and socializing, was previously scheduled for April 11. It will still go ahead as planned on June 6 at the Prestige Lakeside Resort.

Tickets are $45 and can be purchased at the Nelson Star’s office, located at 91 Baker Street. All tickets previously purchased will be honoured.

Last year’s speaker was Orange Shirt founder, author and residential school survivor Phyllis Webstad.
