Nelson police seek suspects in vehicle thefts

The Nelson Police Department is asking the public for assistance in identifying a suspect responsible for a break and enter as well as the theft of vehicles on Feb. 20.

A news release from the department says the break-in took place at a commercial business on the 600 block of Highway 3A in the early morning hours.

“The Nelson Police Department kindly requests that any members of the public interested in assisting, direct their attention to the images of the suspect(s) posted to the department’s social media accounts,” the news release states.

Police are also asking local residents, businesses and drivers who may have security or dash camera footage of the area or incident, to contact investigators.
