PIERZCHALSKI, IGNACY, a long time resident of Salmo, passed away suddenly on March 24, 2010 at Talarico Place, Castlegar. Ignacy was born October 10, 1926 in Vilnuis, Poland. He worked as a miner throughout BC. He has left surviving his sons, Greg (Ruth) and Mike (Karen) and grandchildren Scott and Caitlin. Ignacy was predeceased by his wife Kathlyn. Father Marcel Cote will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 1:30 pm from Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Salmo. Burial will follow at Salmo Cemetery.
