In 1992 Sid and Ronnae semi retired (only in word as they now worked 24/7) at the Nelson Kiwanis Villa, as the managers, in March 2009 Sid retired and spent his remaining months doing what he did best, helping his family, caring for his mother in law Vida until the time of his death. Sid’s favourite past times were playing cards with friends, mostly crib and poker, camping, huckleberry picking, BBQing, sausage making, and was often seen helping anyone in need. He loved fishing; it was a love he shared with his boys and grandsons. He was often seen wrestling and playing with his grandsons. Sid was a great husband, father and father in law, grandpa and the greatest friend. He will be sadly missed.
