Silvercity Stagelines provides a bus service to Kelowna that’s essential and deeply appreciated now that Greyhound is no longer with us. However, there are a couple of issues with this service.

First, it does not provide a refund for a cancelled trip. You lose all your money if for some reason you can’t show up for your trip or change your mind about taking it.

Second, there is no bus shelter at the Tourist Information Centre in Railtown where the bus arrives in the winter at 6 a.m. to go westwards. So you may be left to freeze outdoors while waiting for the bus.

Again, we are lucky to have Silvercity Stagelines but these two obstacles to proper service need to be seriously addressed.
