Re: The more you drive your EV, the more you save, UBC study finds, March 15

It is interesting to see how much we “have” to drive before we save any money.

“Javed said the study did not directly address the question of congestion, but the problem nonetheless remains pressing. EV can also cause congestion and they should be [addressed] appropriately.”

Congestion and need for parking is one thing. What also needs addressing is this: the more you drive, the more micro-plastics get into the environment. I read a study that claims 90 per cent of the micro-plastics in the environment come from car tires. No matter what, we need to drive less.
