Gerick Cycle’s Ross McNamara made a hole-in-one during last year’s Granite Pointe Labour Day Open, earning $15,000 for himself and $3,000 for a charity of his choice. This week McNamara (left) earmarked the latter for Nelson’s KidSport. He says he wanted the money to stay in the community and go toward youth. KidSport’s Bill McDonnell was on hand to receive the cheque.
