David Belling has been included on a top-100 list

Granite Pointe’s general manager has been named among the best golf teachers in the world.

David Belling has been included in a bi-annual ranking of the top 100 instructors by the World Golf Teachers Federation.

The description of the list says, “Those who make the Top 100 are selected for their teaching acumen and success, as well as their contributions to the game and to the WGTF.”

Belling, who joined the Nelson golf course last year, is one of 11 Canadians on the list.

Belling also practises what he preaches. He finished second at the United States Golf Teachers Cup last October, a tournament he has previously won three times.
