The L.V. Rogers’ senior girls are spiking the competition in the early volleyball season.
LVR finished first at last weekend’s Mount Sentinel Secondary tournament after beating Fernie in straight sets in the final. Just one week prior the team also finished first at a tournament in Oliver.
At Mount Sentinel, LVR was tops out of nine teams. The Nelson squad lots twice in the round robin, including once to Fernie, before coming on strong in the playoff round.
